Di Muro Switches Jobs at Notre Dame
Rob Di Muro has been hired as boys’ basketball coach at Notre Dame High, replacing Chris Perez, who resigned last week.
Di Muro, 31, was girls’ coach at Notre Dame the past four seasons, leading the Knights to the Southern Section Division III semifinals in 1994 and ’95. Perez played basketball and football at Notre Dame before graduating in 1983.
“This is the job I’ve been eyeballing since I started coaching,” Di Muro said.
Karrie Parsons, an assistant to Di Muro the past four years, will replace him as girls’ coach.
