Ashley Haendiges, a senior at Whittier La Serna, was named the outstanding swimmer of the Southern Section Division III meet last Saturday by earning the most individual points. She did that by winning the 200- and 500-yard freestyles and anchoring both of her team’s two second-place freestyle relays.
