Nation IN BRIEF : NEW JERSEY : Blacks Gather for Anti-Racism March

Several thousand people gathered in Trenton, N.J., to denounce racism and oppression against minorities and the poor. The mostly black participants marched to the Statehouse and listened as speakers urged unity in the fight against oppression. The march was intended to build on the spirit of the “Million Man March” in Washington last fall.
