TV Helicopters Collide in Japan, Killing 6

TOKYO — Two helicopters being used to film forest fires for rival television stations collided in midair in central Japan today, killing all six people on board, police said.
Television camera operators in the helicopters were filming mountain forest fires near Nagano, a popular resort area about 125 miles northwest of Tokyo, a police spokesman said.
