Though stopping short of endorsing Proposition 203, the $3-billion statewide bond measure for public schools, trustees of the La Habra City School District have passed a resolution urging voters to “carefully weigh the impact” it would have on the district.
The proposition, if passed Tuesday, would provide funding for public schools to rebuild, repair and retrofit buildings and wire classrooms for computers and other technology.
The La Habra City School District would receive about $1.2 million.
Trustees said that money from the measure would be used for rehabilitation and construction projects at Las Lomas Elementary School and Washington Middle School.
