NORTHRIDGE — Average home attendance at Cal State Northidge football games this past season suffered its fourth consecutive year of decline and hit its lowest level since 1984. From its recent 1991 peak to 1995, average attendance fell 51%, compared to an 18% decline in campus enrollment during the same period. The Matador team currently plays in a 6,000-seat rated facility.
