More Trinidad
Michael Parrish’s article, “New England West” (Jan. 14), brought back many memories [of Trinidad, Calif.]. On our first visit, we ate at the Seascape and the Samoa Cookhouse, source of some of our finest eating memories. On one visit, they were running out of fruit pies, so the cook was whipping up (literally) cream pies as we watched. On another trip, the electricity went out, so they had to substitute French toast for regular toast with our eggs. What a hardship! Try Los Bagels for a fun lunch. There are numerous other places to eat in and visit, but you haven’t got the space.
