Cerritos Valley Christian 62, Sun Valley Village Christian 33--Valley Christian won its fifth consecutive Southern Section IV-A title behind guard Kiyoko Miller’s 21 points and seven steals at the Pyramid.
The Valley Christian defense forced 25 turnovers and limited Village Christian to 23% shooting from the field.
Valley Christian (26-0), which has reached the championship game in eight of the last 10 years, made seven of 13 second-quarter shots and led, 38-13, at halftime.
Village Christian’s Lindy James had nine points for the Crusaders (19-8).
