Keane, who missed 11 games and five weeks of the season after arthroscopic knee surgery, has come back strong, averaging nearly 20 points since his return. He fell short of his average in both of Santa Margarita’s Division II-AA playoff games last week, but his all-around play is one of the prime reasons the Eagles won them both. Friday, in a 66-58 overtime victory over Santa Barbara, he scored 14 points despite facing a box-and-one defense. He also had five rebounds, five steals and four assists. Wednesday in a 40-24 victory over Canyon, he faced another box and one and had nine points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

* Mater Dei, junior. Scored 22 points, including a layup with 10 seconds left, in the Monarchs’ 50-48 Division I-A victory over Rowland.

Jan Tatala

* San Clemente, junior. Had 19 points and nine rebounds in a 55-52 Division II-AA loss to top-seeded Moreno Valley.

* Santa Margarita, senior. Scored two goals, both on headers, in a 3-2 victory over Alta Loma and a goal in a 2-0 Division III victory over Riverside North.

* Orange, senior. Stopped three of five penalty kicks and made one of his own in a Division II shootout victory over Santa Barbara.
