‘3rd Rock’s’ Lithgow to Star at Benefit

John Lithgow, star of NBC’s new television hit “3rd Rock From the Sun,” will perform March 7 at “Night at Sardi’s,” an annual benefit for the Alzheimer’s Assn. at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Lithgow will headline a cast presenting selections from Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man.” Other scheduled performers include Lea Thompson and Malcolm Gets of “Caroline in the City,” Sharon Lawrence from “NYPD Blue” and former “Phantom of the Opera” star Dale Kristien.
Tickets for the 6:30 p.m. event start at $250 and include dinner.
