Adult School Offers Fly-Fishing Course
For anyone who has ever stood on the beach and yearned to cast a fishing line into the surf, there is now a class.
Starting Feb. 24, the Conejo Valley Adult School will offer a four-part course on fly-fishing on the beach. Students will learn about tidal fish behavior, marine food sources, fly line systems and the characteristics of different beaches.
No fishing experience or equipment is necessary. Classes will be at the Adult School building on Old Farm Road; an optional field trip will be arranged.
The registration cost is $48. For more information, call 497-2761.
