All of Us Responsible for Children We Meet

Re “Whose Village Is This, Anyway?” (Jan. 26): Why are so many people ready to take Hillary Clinton down? She has written a wonderful book. The village she is talking about is not the village of long ago, but the neighborhood and the school and the home.
Clinton is just letting us all know that all of us are responsible for the children we encounter. We should be able to guide a child if we see him doing wrong and praise him when he is doing well. Parents shouldn’t be so uptight if someone tells their child to behave.
