ID Card Could Help Stem Bank Heists

Regarding the spate of bank robberies plaguing Ventura County, has any thought been given to require people to show an ID when entering a bank?
It seems to me that a system like using a credit card to gain entrance would admit only people who have legitimate business. Visitors could ring for admittance by staff.
The ATMs work fine. Let’s adapt it to the entry doors.
