USC Loses to Oregon State, 64-62

The USC women’s basketball team led throughout most of the second half, but Jody Anton missed on a baseline jumper with eight seconds left and the Trojans lost, 64-62, to No. 18-ranked Oregon State Thursday night in a Pacific 10 game at Corvallis, Ore.
Anette Mollerstrom gave Oregon State, 13-4 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-10, the lead with a fast-break basket with 1:22 remaining.
Forward Tina Thompson, coming off a 49-point performance against UCLA on Saturday, had 23 points for the Trojans (8-9, 3-5).
Oregon 75, UCLA 48--Arianne Boyer scored 18 points and the Ducks (12-6, 4-4) shot 67% in the second half to rout the Bruins (9-8, 4-4) at Eugene, Ore.
