Nintendo Co. Unveils Plans for Machine: The company said it won’t launch its critical next-generation Nintendo 64 video game machine in North America until Sept. 30, barely in time for the holiday season. Kyoto, Japan-based Nintendo Co. plans to launch the machine in Japan in April. The device will sell for less than $250. At additional cost, Nintendo will also offer an add-on disk drive that, unlike CD-ROM drives, can record and will allow players to customize their games.
