Gallery to Show Art From Kids’ Books
The Brea Gallery will present a spring exhibit of original children’s book illustrations.
Titled “Worth a Thousand Words,” the exhibit will feature 75 drawings, sketches and paintings seen in many well-known children’s books, officials said.
The opening reception, which many of the exhibit artists will attend, is set for March 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit will run March 16 through April 5.
The Brea Gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., and Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 8 p.m. Regular admission is $1.
