To Our Subscribers
Effective Monday, Jan. 8, the home-delivered price of The Times will change to $4.14 per week for daily and Sunday service. The new rate for daily-only home delivery will be $3.60 per week, and $2.00 for Sunday-only service. These rates will affect all subscribers.
The increase is due to rising costs at The Times, particularly for newsprint which has risen by more than 75% in the last two years.
Applicable California sales taxes are included in the above rates.
There will be no change in the single copy prices.
The new home delivery rates will go into effect in those portions of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties in which subscribers are billed directly by The Times.
