Report on Sybert Reveals Double Standard
Excuse me, but isn’t there just a little bit of a double standard in reporting here (“Sybert Cozies Up to Supporters of Beilenson,” Dec. 16)?
Tony Beilenson comes back to this district for years and claims to be a moderate while compiling one of the most liberal voting records in Congress, and the press doesn’t say a word. Rich Sybert points out that he and Beilenson actually agree on some issues, such as Israel and the environment, and the press jumps all over him.
The liberal left just can’t accept that a Republican moderate is going to represent this district.
