Effective Monday, Jan. 8, 1996, the home-delivered price of The Times Valley Edition will change from $4.04 to $4.14 per week for daily and Sunday service. The new rate for daily-only home delivery will be $3.60 per week, and $2.00 for Sunday-only service. These rates will affect all subscribers.

The increase is due to rising costs at The Times, particularly for newsprint, which has risen by more than 75% in the past two years.

Applicable California sales taxes are included in the above rates.

There will be no change in single-copy prices.

The new home-delivery rates will go into effect for those portions of Los Angeles County served by The Times Valley Edition.
