A Poignant Moment With Jim Stueck
I want to commend you for the very fine and wonderful article of Jan. 2, which spotlighted a shining star in the community, Jim Stueck.
I would like to relate one moment that is very poignant and dear to me, when I saw this “powerhouse of love” at work.
On Dec. 16, the Marines and Friends held its third annual Christmas party for children and teens housed at Camarillo State Hospital and Developmental Center.
When Jim Stueck showed up in his classic Santa Claus outfit and his tremendous personality, every child, teen and adult there believed that Santa was really and truly there with us--and, indeed, he was.
