Dos Pueblos 14, Oxnard 12--Dos Pueblos (5-3, 4-1) stopped a conversion pass with three minutes left to preserve the Chargers’ victory at Valley Stadium in Santa Barbara.
Ross Randolph returned a Dos Pueblos fumble 20 yards to the Oxnard 44, giving the Yellowjackets (2-6, 1-4) a shot at a comeback victory with 4:24 to play.
Three plays later, Randolph caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Spencer to trim the Charger lead to 14-12.
On the conversion attempt, Spencer threw short to Chad Pierson.
