THOUSAND OAKS : County Trustee to Meet With Residents
- Share via
Conejo Valley residents who want to buttonhole their representative on the Ventura County Board of Education will get a chance this morning at a community forum.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.
Board member Marty Bates of Thousand Oaks said he uses the forums to get comments on current and upcoming items set to come before the board. Community members will be able to review the board packet, which contains information on the board’s next meeting Monday.
The five-member board oversees operations of the county superintendent of schools office, which in turn oversees administration for Ventura County schools as well as supervising the schooling of disabled students and others with special needs.
