Notre Dame 35, St. Bernard 7--Jorge Piedra had three interceptions to lead the Knights’ defensive attack at St. Bernard High.

Norte Dame (7-0, 2-0) forced six Viking turovers which led to 28 points and gave up only 186 total offense. The Knights opened the scoring after Justin Fargas scored on a 12-yard run to cap a four-play, 48-yard opening drive. Fargas finished with 64 yards in eight carries.

After the Vikings (2-5, 0-2) fumbled the ensuing kickoff, Jason Bowne hit Troy Garner with an 18-yard touchdown pass. Bowne completed five of 13 passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
