HUNTINGTON BEACH : City Leaders Make the Rounds Today
City leaders will walk neighborhoods today to talk with residents and business owners as part of their ongoing “Community Outreach” meetings.
A special City Council meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Talbert Room at Huntington Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave.
Then two-person teams made up of council members, planning commissioners and city department heads will go into neighborhoods to talk to people about their concerns.
They will focus on the neighborhoods bounded by Newland Street, Garfield Avenue, Pacific Coast Highway and Slater Avenue.
From noon to 2 p.m., the city teams will return to the library to present their comments from residents. Residents are also invited to address the council with questions.
