Safety Nwoke Is Suspended by Donahue
UCLA starting strong safety Ted Nwoke has been suspended for team disciplinary reasons.
Coach Terry Donahue would not be specific but equated it with a curfew violation.
“I will talk with him on Monday about his future status with the team,” Donahue said.
Glenn Thompkins will start in Nwoke’s place tonight. Tommy Bennett, who has been playing primarily at linebacker, is also expected to play part of the game at safety.
