Tickets for Tour of Homes

The Los Angeles Conservancy is sponsoring a two-day tour of eight notable modern homes designed by architects for themselves. The price is $40 for one day and $65 for both. Tours begin between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. both days. For ticket availability and information, call the conservancy at (213) 623-2489.
The first day--Sunday--includes stops at the Eames house in Pacific Palisades, the A. Quincy Jones barn in Century City, Pierre Koenig’s house in Brentwood and Ray Kappe’s treehouse in Rustic Canyon.
The second day--Saturday, Oct. 7--includes Richard Neutra’s house in Silver Lake, Rudolf M. Schindler’s house in West Hollywood, Peter de Bretteville’s duplex in Laurel Canyon and Sara Graham and Marc Angelil’s house in Beachwood Canyon.
