LA PALMA : Applicants Sought for Culture-Beauty Panel
The city is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on one of its most active citizen groups, the Cultural and Beautification Committee.
The committee organizes many community events, including the Holiday Home and Business Decorating Contest, the Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Spring Festival of the Arts, Arbor Day, Memorial Day and the Concert in the Park series.
The committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:45 p.m. in the Community Center.
Panel members must be city residents. Application forms are available at the reception desk in City Hall, 7822 Walker St., 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. The application deadline is Oct. 23.
