Sheriff’s detectives are asking the public’s help in finding three teen-age girls missing since Sunday.
Keisha Brown, 13, Dezjole Washington and Loneesha Varnado, both 14, were dropped off by a family member about 6 p.m. Sunday near 3900 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood, said Deputy Benita Nichol.
The girls said they planned to take a shuttle bus to Universal CityWalk, Nichol said.
“They were to call home later to be picked up, but failed to do so,” she said.
“Witnesses have indicated that the three girls took a round-trip on the shuttle and never went to CityWalk,” she said, adding that they were last seen at a pay phone on Lankershim Boulevard.
