Allison Ahlfeldt has been so active in athletics her whole life she sometimes forgets she was born with an underdeveloped right leg and wears a prosthesis. A 5-foot-11 senior outside hitter at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles, Ahlfeldt made her debut Tuesday with the school’s varsity volleyball team, getting two kills and a block against Marymount. She was captain of the school’s junior varsity squad last season. “So little attention is brought to Allison’s leg that we all tend to forget about it until an opponent reminds us,” Coach Tom Brenner said.
