Sylmar 60, Chatsworth 7--Durell Price rushed for 122 yards in 15 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead the Spartans (2-0) at home.
Price scored on runs of nine, 17, one and 34 yards. Denys Martin added 80 yards in 11 carries and also scored two touchdowns. Gerrod Taylor rushed for 75 yards in six carries and scored on a 33-yard run.
Cruz Venegas returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown for Sylmar.
Chatsworth quarterback Noah Verdi completed six of 14 for 36 yards with one interception. Ron Atkins scored the Chancellors’ only touchdown on a one-yard run. The Chancellors (0-2) committed seven turnovers.
