Update : Follow-up on the news : VILLA PARK : Storm Drain Project Moves Forward
Work on a new storm drain for the city is expected to be completed by early next year.
The City Council recently authorized a new storm drain on Loma Street at Canyon Drive and earmarked $40,000 for the work. The council also approved the final design and preparation of plans.
Noting that Villa Park, Orange County’s smallest city, has few city-financed construction projects, City Manager Fred Maley said that the drainage work is an important capital improvement for the community.
