1994: Sea View League and Orange County runner-up, third at Southern Section Division I-A finals and eighth at first State Division I championship appearance.

Key returners: Jennifer Davis, Sr; Barbara Dunn, Jr; Stefani Lefevre, Sr; Stacey Roberson, Sr; Krista Talbot, Jr; Adrianna Valle, So.

Key newcomers: Kathy Duque, Jr; Stephanie Fellows, So; Briana Lawrence, So; Becky Miske, Fr; Rachel Provencio, Jr.

Outlook: There isn’t a lot of room for improvement from the Chargers’ success of last season, but they actually have more talented runners on this year’s squad. Roberson, a Times Orange County second-team selection last fall, is the team’s leader, with Davis and Lefevre returning to play key roles. Duque, who had a stellar freshman year at Tustin before transferring and sitting out last season, is expected to give the Chargers a major boost. At Tustin, Duque finished 20th at the county championships. Miske has been impressive early.
