Monday is Labor Day, an annual recognition honoring the nation’s work force. It is observed as a federal holiday.
* Closed: Government offices, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses. SCAT buses and Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: No trash service Monday. Regular Tuesday-Friday service will be postponed one day.
