18-Year-Old Killed Following Argument
ANAHEIM — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot Friday morning after he and several others were seen arguing in a parking lot, police said.
The victim was standing in a parking area near State College Boulevard and La Palma Avenue when an argument occurred and the man was shot several times, Anaheim Police Sgt. Steve Rodig said.
The others at the scene fled the area, and the victim was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center. The victim, whose name had not been released by late Friday, was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hospital.
The motive for the killing has not been determined and no suspects have been identified, Rodig said. The shooting remains under investigation.
