Louis M. Gubricky; Retired 3M Supervisor
A longtime resident of Camarillo who loved gardening, golf and amateur photography, Louis Michael Gubricky died at his home Friday. He was 75.
Gubricky was born in Muskegon Heights, Mich., on April 17, 1920. He participated in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939 before taking a position with Revere Camera Co.
He served as a corporal in the Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945 and then returned to Revere, which later merged with the 3M Co. In 1976, he transferred from Chicago to Camarillo, where he worked as a production supervisor for 3M until his retirement in 1981.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence, in 1993. He is survived by his daughter, Patrice Lynn, three sisters and two brothers. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary, Camarillo.
