Golden West Band to Give Free Concert

HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Golden West College Symphonic Band will present a free outdoor concert today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Golden West College Amphitheater near Gothard and Center streets.
“This is a great event to top off Father’s Day,” said Lori Thomas, a spokeswoman for the college.
On the program will be patriotic marches, movie scores and selections from the musical “Miss Saigon.”
Concert-goers may bring picnic dinners, blankets and low-back chairs.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
