Woman Assaulted in Home; Attacker Flees in Victim’s Car
HUNTINGTON BEACH — An elderly woman was sexually assaulted in her home Saturday, and the assailant is believed to have fled in the woman’s car, police said.
Huntington Beach Police Lt. Chuck Thomas said neighbors discovered the woman in her home in the 20500 block of Beach Boulevard at about 7:15 p.m. She was taken to UCI Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Other details on her condition, the circumstances of the assault and descriptions of the attacker or attackers were not available late Saturday.
Thomas said police are looking for the vehicle, which is a light blue 1989 Cadillac El Dorado.
