USC : College Information Hits the Internet
Information about more than 200 community service programs offered by USC is now accessible through the Internet computer network.
The Community Outreach Programs Database provides information on USC-administered educational, community and academic outreach programs. Organizers hope the on-line database will facilitate community access to these programs.
Computer users with Internet access and Gopher program capability can log on to the database by typing the following address: gopher://cwis.usc.edu:70/11/Campus Life/Volunteers/NRC/compendium (once the UNIX prompt appears, type “gopher cwis.usc.edu.”).
Those who do not have Internet access can receive information by phone: (213) 743-2309.
