GOINGS ON : Santa Barbara Club to Hold Annual Arms Sale
Your chance to get a great deal on an old gun is coming this weekend at the Santa Barbara Historical Arms and Blade Assn.’s 35th annual summer sale at the Earl Warren Showgrounds. There will be displays from all major conflicts from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War.
The sponsoring organization was formed in 1957, and proceeds will benefit the club. Awards will be given for displays, and some items will be available from vendors.
The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults. The venue is at Las Positas Road and the Ventura Freeway. Call 687-0766 for more information.
