Source Scientific Inc: The Garden Grove biomedical instruments manufacturer is merging with XCEL Corp., a privately held electronics manufacturer with operations in California, Massachusetts and overseas in Japan and the United Kingdom. Source Scientific said the new combined company will have gross sales next year of $46 million and may qualify for trading on NASDAQ stock market.
