* The Best of Britain is a 15-day tour Aug. 12-26 that highlights England, Scotland and Wales. It begins with three days in London with a blend of sightseeing and free time for shopping or independent exploring. The tour proceeds to York, then to historic sites in Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Camberly. Guests also ride to Edinburgh, Scotland, to see the Edinburgh Tattoo, a ceremonial musical performance by bands in Edinburgh Castle. In Wales, guests visit the north coast, Conwy and Caernarfon.

SST of Fresno, a packager of international tours for senior travelers, is offering a nine-day tour called “An Orient Adventure,” to Bangkok and Hong Kong. A three-day optional add-on to Taipei (Taiwan) and Singapore, leaves Nov. 3. The rest of the tour leaves Nov. 6-14. Participants begin with three nights in Bangkok to visit palaces and temples and take a sunset barge cruise. Four nights in Hong Kong include shopping time and an eight-course dinner aboard a floating restaurant. The tour is $1,949 per person, double occupancy.
