Associated Press
Coach Garry St. Jean, who led the Sacramento Kings to their finest season in a decade, was rewarded Monday with a 3-year contract.
Terms were not disclosed, although it was reported last week that St. Jean would receive about $700,000 per year.
The Kings finished 39-43 this season and were eliminated from playoff contention in the final game. It was an improvement of 11 victories from the previous season.
