A development company will pitch to the Camarillo Planning Commission tonight a proposal to build 66 condominiums on a nine-acre central Camarillo parcel of farmland.
The Sares-Regis Group wants to build the units in 14 different sections or clusters. The units measure from 1,505 square feet to 1,987 square feet.
The site is next to St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital.
Each unit, to be built of wood frame and stucco, will feature a Spanish design with two-car garages, large windows and fireplaces. Common areas include recreation areas, tot lots and recreational vehicle parking spaces and swimming pools.
Planning Department staff members are recommending approval.
The commission will consider the project at the meeting which starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive.
