Dolco Packaging Reports Increase of 7% in Profit

Dolco Packaging Corp., a Studio City maker of plastic packaging, said its profit rose by 7% in the first quarter that ended March 31 to $1.47 million, up from $1.37 million for the first quarter a year ago. Revenues rose by 14% during the quarter, to $19.5 million from $17.1 million a year earlier.
The company also said it has raised its prices since the first quarter last year, partly to offset the higher cost of raw materials.
