How to be a USC Vendor: A daylong networking session will be held Thursday for small businesses seeking to become USC vendors. The university uses hundreds of products and services, including food, office supplies, computers and linens and janitorial supplies. The event includes business management and financing workshops with USC Purchasing Services representatives and bankers, a trade fair at Alumni Memorial Park and a luncheon with guest speaker Viola Canales, U.S. Small Business Administration regional administrator. The event begins at 8 a.m. at the USC campus, Figueroa Street and Jefferson Boulevard. Sponsors include the city and county of Los Angeles and the school’s Small Business Development Office and Purchasing Services department. Admission is $20, $100 for fair exhibitors.
