Golf Tournament to Boost Scholarships
The USC Newport-Irvine Club is seeking players and sponsors for its first Swing for Scholarships golf tournament, to be held April 29 on the Costa Mesa Golf Course.
The cost to play is $65. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for local students. The club provided two $1,000 scholarships to local students last year and hopes that the golf event will allow it to double that amount.
To reserve a slot in the tournament, which is not limited to USC alumni, call Steve Moses at (714) 760-2405.
