TUJUNGA : Afternoon of Family Fun Due at YMCA

An afternoon of family fun is scheduled Saturday at the Verdugo Hills Family YMCA.
Open to the public, the events slated for KidFest include a trike-a-thon (a race with tricycles), health fair, chicken barbecue and sign-ups for summer camps.
The health fair will include information about drug abuse prevention, pool safety and helmet and bike inspections, fitness evaluation and fingerprinting by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Camps the YMCA is offering are for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, and range from day camps to overnight camps at Catalina Island and in the mountains.
