Kenney, from Servite High, finished the regular season with a strong performance to help the Chargers beat Fullerton, 78-74, and earn a berth in the Southern California playoffs. Kenney, averaging 15 points, scored 22 points and had four rebounds against Fullerton. He has moved up to fifth on the all-time Cypress scoring list with 972 points. He has the most three-pointers in Cypress history; he made 105 as a freshman and 104 this season.

* Orange Coast, sophomore. Gardner pitched a five-hitter with 12 strikeouts as Orange Coast beat Monterey Peninsula, 4-3, in the Golden Coast tournament.
