Northridge Can’t Beat Percentages
CEDAR CITY, Utah — Jim Faulkner had 13 points and Keith Berard added 12 as Southern Utah rolled past Cal State Northridge, 77-53, Saturday night in an American West Conference game.
Neither team shot well, but Southern Utah’s 39% proved good enough to overcome Northridge’s 26%.
Northridge, 5-15 overall and 2-1 in league play, was led by Ryan Martin’s 11 points. Ruben Oronoz was the only other Northridge player to score in double figures, with 10 points.
