Quality Systems Reports $138,800 Quarterly Profit

Quality Systems Inc. reported a profit of $138,800, or 3 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31. That was down from earnings of $558,900, or 13 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier for the Tustin provider of computer-based information processing systems for medical and dental group practices.

Revenue declined 24% to $2.8 million from $3.7 million. Profit for the first three quarters of the company’s fiscal year fell 28% to $524,300, or 11 cents a share, from $730,700, or 17 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier.

Nine-month revenue was down 1% to $8.6 million from $8.7 million.
